Sufficient Grace

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

We came home and she was gone. Lying in a pool of fluid. We loved her for 12 amazing years, our beloved dog, Koko. I was devastated; the pain of losing a loved one was evident in the agony of my cry.  As the days go by I hear God thru the strength of my 5 year old saying, “it’s okay mommy she had a long life.” These words gave me immediate indescribable comfort. Then I realized God was preparing us for Koko’s passing.  The day before my husband and I met a pleasant woman who told us about her dog with the exact name as ours. However, she struggled as she told us how her dog passed which now we realized our dog had the same fate.  The day of her passing we noticed a slight difference in her breathing but thought it would go away so we went to church. The message was, “God won’t take the trial away but His grace will see you thru.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.  When trials come, it can hit us like a pitcher throwing a baseball ninety miles an hour. But it’s important to realize that God is always with us thru the storm. Sufficient grace means God has got your back all the way thru your hard times. When we totally depend on Him, we can discover the peace that is inside of us and thru our weakness God will be able to work wonders in our lives.

Are you in need of God’s sufficient grace? He is always there for us.  It hasn’t been long since my koko has passed but I feel God’s grace and hear his still voice comforting me every day. He’s concern about everything in your life. Don’t wait to let him comfort you.
